On Friday, Oct. 1, Wittenberg’s men’s soccer team was looking to extend their three-game win streak against the Lords of Kenyon College.

With 7:45 PM kick off, the weather was calm and cool, perfect for 90 minutes of soccer. By the end of the first half, the score was 0-0 with the Tigers having had some promising chances with three shots on goal.

Holding the line for the Tigers was Jason Bowen (’22) with three saves by the end of the first half. Unfortunately for the Tigers, their shutout would not hold, and the Lords would get two in by the end of full-time.

With a 0-2 loss, the Tigers now have a record this season of 6-3-2. Their next game is Tuesday, Oct. 19 against Wabash here at home.
