The Wittenberg men’s hockey team continued to roll this week, winning a pair of games on its home ice. 
The Tigers took down Denison University last night, 7-4, after an exhausting 60 minutes of play.
Once again, the rivalry between these two teams was strengthened, as multiple ejections were handed out throughout the first and third periods. Alex Beebe, Ben Saylor and Andrew Rosselot all were ejected in the game.  With a shortened bench, the Tigers prevailed with the help of David Like.  Like managed to slip in three goals in the second period.
The Tigers had to resort to taking a fan out of the stands to come and play with them. 
Senior, Max Dehnke was called out from the stands and suited up for the rest of the game. 
Dehnke added an assist in the Tigers win.  Goals were scored by Teddy Brady, Alex Beebe, David Like and Kenyon Rizzo, along with Dylan Conroy playing strong in the net. 
With the win, the Tigers take the lead in the Buckeye Conference and have set themselves up for the chance to extend their season into mid-March at the CIHA National Tournament.
In the second game of the week, the Tigers were trailing 4-3 with six minutes remaining in the third period,
The Tigers scored two quick, back-to-back goals two minutes and ten seconds apart to win 5-4.
Goals were credited to Teddy Brady and Nate Hayes (GWG). With the win the Tigers increase their record to 8-2-2 and sweep the home and home series with OWU.
Next week, the Tigers head to Denison University to compete in the 70/71 tournament. The game schedule will be posted this week.
