The Tiger harriers started their indoor seasons this past weekend in beautiful Tiffin, Ohio, at Heidelberg University for the Heidelberg Alumni Open. The weekend saw Tiger speedster and senior Brea Medlock scoot her way to victory in the 400 meters. Medlock’s victory came just two spots ahead of her Tiger teammate junior Alaina Longshore. Medlock was not done for the day, as she also got second in the 200 meters.
On the men’s side, senior Aaron Melsop earned a second place finish in the long jump. Senior Laikie Wallace finished third in the 400 meters, to round out the day on the men’s side.
The Tigers do not hit the track again until after the semester, when the Tigers go to the Otterbein Invitational.
