Kai Hannum is a freshman rugby player who grew up in Bay Village, Ohio, a small suburb on the west side of Cleveland. He went through the public school system there and had a great time doing varsity hurdles for all four years. His biggest influences growing up were his dad, who got him into track, and his other friends, who were great athletes. At Witt, he should be graduating in 2019. While he is attending, he hopes to continue to play club rugby and stay in shape, along with being a part of his fraternity Beta Theta Pi.
