Wittenberg Career Services once again brought job and internship opportunities to students this past Thursday. Over 30 businesses were displayed at the Job and Internship Fair with numerous recruiters and employers, including about 10 Wittenberg alumni.
From the Ohio State Highway Patrol to non-profits, there were a variety of industries represented, including: financial, medical, health, technology, media and radio. Students were able to share their resumes and contact information with potential employers and network with industry professionals about internship and job opportunities within the Springfield and Ohio areas.
Olivia Verellen ’18 shared that she “enjoyed how personable every company’s representative was and they were more than willing to help me and my interests specifically.”
If you missed out on this career building opportunity, don’t worry! There will be other events throughout the year by Career Services as well as walk-in hours every Monday 1:30-4:15 p.m. and Thursday 1:30-4:15 p.m. If you’d like to make an appointment to go over interviewing, resume building or job searching call 937-327-7521 or stop in Career Services at COMPASS in the library.
