The men of M2S2 (Minority Men Striving to Succeed) gathered on Thursday to pass out roses to people. 150 roses were paid for out-of-pocket by the members of M2S2 and the group’s advisors Julius Bailey, Ray Jones and Paris Hilliard.
The goal of this event was to hand out flowers to passers by, to be chivalrous and to spread love on a day dedicated to love.
“To make somebody smile that may not have gotten anything” Julius Bailey explained as another reason for their event.
M2S2 is a campus organization that strives to create community and family among minority men on campus.
