Officers met with a student regarding a broken window at his residence, caused by an errant baseball.

Officers were dispatched to S. Fountain Ave. regarding a student who had become lost and could not find his way back to campus. The student was located and was found to be intoxicated. He was returned to his campus residence and issued a dean’s citation for underage consumption and public intoxication.

Officers and an RA investigated a noise complaint at Ferncliff Hall. Upon approaching the room in question a conversation was heard about marijuana usage. Officers entering the room found a pipe and a bag of marijuana that was observed in plain sight. Officers issued a Dean Summons for drug paraphernalia and drug abuse.

Officers were flagged down in the 800 block of N. Fountain Avenue and informed of possible domestic assault between a male and female. Officers checked the area but could not locate the disputants.

Officers observed a squad parked in front of a university owned property in the 800 block of N. Fountain Ave. Investigation revealed that a non-student had consumed too much alcohol while attending a social gathering and became ill. SFD made transport to the Springfield Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Officers assisted the AC at Firestine Hall with two intoxicated students that were requested a ride to the Springfield Regional Medical Center to check on a non-student companion that was at the hospital being treated for excessive alcohol consumption. Both students were not in a condition to be present at the hospital and were informed to remain on campus.

Officers responded to an alleged physical altercation in the 900 block of Woodlawn Ave. Investigation revealed that a non-student was assaulted at a non-university home by other non-students. The individuals refused medical attention and refused to file a report on the incident.

Officers responded to Firestine Hall on an activated fire alarm. Investigation revealed that overcooked food activated the alarm.
09/30/2013 @ 12:39 a.m.
Officers and SFD responded to Tower Hall to assist with a student stuck in an elevator on the third floor. The student was removed without incident or injury.
