Officers responded to a residence regarding a reported burglary. Residents stated that four males in dark colored hoodies had entered and taken electronics. No forced entry was found on the main entrances of the home.

Officers were dispatched to Firestine Hall in reference to a smoke alarm. The student advised they were blow drying their hair. The alarm was placed back in service.

Officers were dispatched to a residence in reference to water leaking through the ceiling. Officers spoke with the upstairs tent and he stated he became preoccupied reading a book and the kitchen sink overflowed.

Officers were dispatched to Firestine Hall regarding the smell of marijuana, reported by a resident advisor. Officers determined the source of the smell, and made contact with the room’s occupants, who gave consent to search the room. Both students were cited for possession and code of conduct violations.

Officers were dispatched to the area of Alumni Way regarding three suspicious males. Contact was made with the thee non-students in front of Woodlawn Hall, who advised that they were walking through campus. All were checked and found to be clear of warrants. Subjects were advised and sent from the area.
01/21/2014 @ 6:18 p.m.
Officers were dispatched to Woodlawn Ave. to check a currently vacant university-owned property. The residence was found secure with the exception of an exterior door that led to the separately secured, upstairs apartment.
01/24 @ 11:08 p.m.
Officers were dispatched to Tower Hall regarding an underage party. Two students received dean citations for underage alcohol offenses and code of conduct violations regarding hosting the party and their behavior toward residence hall staff. Several other identified students received dean citations for their involvement.
