Officers responded to an address at West College Avenue in reference to an assault. A student stated another unknown male initiated an argument over their beer. The unknown male stated obscenities at the student and then proceeded to strike the student in the face with a closed fist.
03/17/2014 @ 11:21 p.m.
Officers were dispatched to the area of West College Avenue on a group of people that broke a window with a beer bottle. Officers were given description of one of the suspects in a plaid shirt with a baseball hat on. Officers identified him as a Wittenberg student.
03/18/2014 @ 2:52 p.m.
Officers were dispatched to meet a faculty member in reference to suspicious male following her. Officers located the male; he was cleared of any warrants and sent on his way.
03/19/2014 @ 10:39 p.m.
Officers spoke with a student in reference to a male in an orange hoodie grabbing him and threatening to punch him in the face over videotaping the Shifters. The officers spoke with the other party involved, who was identified as a student. The suspect stated the group was “sick and tired of being filmed.” Officers advised the suspect it was not illegal to film in a public venue.

Officers met with a student regarding the theft of a phone charger from her vehicle. An unfamiliar cell phone was found in the car by the victim and was collected as evidence.
03/22/2014 @ 1:56 a.m.
Officers were dispatched to North Fountain Avenue regarding property damage. The reporting party stated that he was in the living room of the residence when he felt a draft and heard the wind blowing through a window. Upon investigation, he found the window broken with a Gatorade bottle lying in the sill. Suspects were unable to be located.

Officers met with a student in reference to being in fear for their safety. The student advised that two males made off-handed comments about shooting someone and suicide. Officers interviews all parties involved but were unable to confirm the details in the statements.
