09/12/14 Officers were dispatched to Thomas Library in reference to a suspicious male. The male was identified as a non-student. The male was sent from the area. Upon further investigation, it was determined the male had an active trespass warning on file. A warrant for criminal trespass will be issued.
09/14/14 Officers were dispatched to New Residence Hall in reference to an intoxicated female. The student stated she had consumed two beers and had taken several prescription medications. The student was transported to the hospital by medic. Student Development was notified.
09/14/14 Officers were dispatched to McMurray’s Bar in reference to a student using another person’s driver’s license and refusing to leave the establishment. The student was issued a Dean Summons, and was transported back to her residence.
09/14/14 Officers were dispatched to Firestine Hall in reference to a fire alarm. The alarm identified the second floor lounge. The cause of the alarm was attributed to a buildup of dust on the smoke detector. The fire department responded and checked the residence hall. The alarm was placed back in service.
09/16/14 Officers were dispatched to Ferncliff Hall in reference to a medical emergency. The student was transported to the hospital. Student Development was notified.
09/18/14 Officers took a report at Police Headquarters in reference to a stolen cell phone. A student stated her cell phone was in her back pocket during a party in the 400 blk. of Park Pl.. The student stated the phone was in her pocket and when she turned around, no one was there. After asking around at the party, a group of males pointed to a group of non-students attending the event. Officers were able to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle, but were unable to locate the phone. This incident is under investigation.
