4/4/15  Officers received a call in reference to a student being transported to the hospital after suffering a seizure. Student Development was notified.
4/6/15  Officers observed a vehicle traveling the wrong way on a one-way street. Officers initiated a traffic stop and identified the operator as a non-student. The non-student was also found to be operating without an operator’s license and was cited for the infractions.
4/7/15  Officers were dispatched to Blair Hall in reference to some empty beer bottles located in the “Tower” portion of the building. No suspects were listed at the time of the report.
4/8/15  Officers were conducting a residence hall check at Firestine Hall and located some standing water in the basement. Physical Plant and WFF were notified.
4/9/15  Officers were checking the area of Park Place and Ferncliff Place and observed a suspicious male sitting on the curb. The male was identified as a student. He advised he had received some bad news, but declined any additional assistance and continued his phone call with his mother.
4/11/15  Officers observed a male carrying a wooden leg to a road sign on Woodlawn Ave. Officers attempted to stop the male, and he attempted to hide under a bush. Officers identified the male as a student. The student was also in possession of a half can of beer. Officers issued a Dean’s Summons for the infractions.
4/11/15  Officers observed a suspicious male at the intersection of N. Fountain Ave. and W. Ward St. The male was identified as a non-student. The non-student advised he was picking up cans. The man was served a criminal trespass letter and was advised to stay off Wittenberg property.
4/12/15  While assisting students, a student passing by began yelling obscenities at the officer. The male refused to identify himself to officers until he was detained. The male was identified as a student. The student was intoxicated and was issued a Dean’s Summons for his conduct.
4/12/15  Officers were conducting an escort when they observed a female lying in the street in front of a residence on W. College Ave. The female identified herself as a non-student. The non-student was intoxicated, but able to care for herself.
4/14/15  The Wittenberg Police Division was advised of a “shots fired” complaint in the area of the 500 block of E. Cecil St. As SPD units arrived on scene, it was reported that at least 5-6 shots were directed into a residence and at least one into a motor vehicle. SPD identified the suspect as a non-student. The non-student made threats against the public and law enforcement. Due to the proximity of the complaint, an emergency text alert was sent to the campus community.
