01/28/2016 Officers were dispatched to the 500 Block of Park Place in reference to a couch on the front porch. Pictures were taken of the couch and trash. No one was home at the time of the report. This incident has been referred to Student Development for review.
01/30/2016 Officers were dispatched to the 200 Block of W. College Avenue in reference to a noise complaint and public urination. This was the second call for the day. Officers spoke to the students who were in charge of the party and advised them to shut the party down. The residents shut the party down and picked up all trash while officers were on scene.
01/30/2016 While working the basketball game at the HPERC, officers spoke to HPERC staff in reference to a student who was being loud and appeared to be intoxicated. A short time later, the student opened an emergency exit, which sounded the alarm. The student began using profanity and was escorted out of the facility. This incident has been referred to Student Development for review.
01/31/2016 While on patrol in the area of Woodlawn Avenue and W. Cassilly Street, officers observed two males carrying trash cans over their heads. The men were dropping trash as they ran down the sidewalk. Both men observed the officers and fled in different directions. Officer Sullivan followed one of the men, caught him several blocks later and identified him as a student. Officers detained the student and transported him back to where he had been dumping trash. The student cleaned up the trash and was released. This incident has been referred to Student Development for review.
02/03/2016 While conducting a dorm check at Firestine Hall, officers discovered flooding in the basement. The water was entering the basement through the west windows inside of the electrical panel closet. Officers left the doors open so the water could flow to a floor drain. The physical plant staff was notified, and he photographed the scene.
