02/05/2016 Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 900 Block of Woodlawn Ave. in reference to a litter complaint. A student/resident stated that earlier in the week, he was advised by police to clean up the trash, and he cleaned it up. There was broken glass and litter on the property. This incident has been forwarded to Student Development for review.
02/05/2016 Officers were dispatched to the Zero Block of W. College Ave. in reference to a suspicious vehicle. Two non-students were sitting in the vehicle. Officers could smell the odor of burnt marijuana coming from the vehicle. A bag of marijuana was located in the unlocked glove compartment. One non-student was issued a Criminal Trespass Letter and released into her father’s custody. The second non-student was charged with Corrupting a Minor with Drugs, Possession of Drugs, Drug Paraphernalia, and he was served with a Criminal Trespass Letter.
02/06/2016 Officers were dispatched to a sorority house in reference to a report of a broken window. A resident advised that one of the ground floor windows had been broken. Officers reviewed security camera video, and observed a male and a female walk up to the window. It appeared as though the female threw a rock through the window.
02/06/2016 While on patrol, officers observed a vehicle driven by a student side swipe a parked vehicle that was parked at Faculty Court and Woodlawn. The parked vehicle belonged to another student. They exchanged information.
02/07/2016 Officers were dispatched to Firestine Hall in reference to a fight between a male and female. A non-student stated that he was visiting his girlfriend, a student, and they had an argument. The student advised that their argument got heated, but it did not get physical. The non-student left with a friend.
02/07/2016 Officers investigated a vehicle parked in the 600 Block of N. Fountain Ave. with the engine running. A non-student was asleep in the vehicle. The non-student admitted to drinking alcohol, and submitted to a series of field sobriety tests, which he failed. The non-student was charged with Physical Control.
