10/7/2016 Officers detected an odor of marijuana in the area of the 100 blk. of West College Avenue. Officers spoke with two students who admitted to smoking marijuana just prior to the officer’s arrival. The incident has been referred to Student Development for review.
10/7/2016 Officers were dispatched to the 400 blk. of North Wittenberg Avenue in reference to a stolen bicycle. Officers met with a student who stated the bike was a black and green mountain bike. There are no known suspects at this time.
10/8/2016 Officers were dispatched to Alumni Way in reference to a group of males smoking marijuana. Officers spoke with a student who admitted to smoking marijuana. The incident has been referred to Student Development for review.
10/8/2016 Officers were dispatched to the 1000 blk. of Woodlawn Avenue in reference to an unconscious male on the front porch. Officers identified the male as a non-student and was found to be intoxicated. The non-student was released to a friend.
10/8/2016 Officers assisted the Springfield Police Division with two students fighting in the middle of North Fountain Avenue near West Ward Street. The students were arrested for disorderly conduct and underage drinking. The incident has been referred to Student Development for review.
10/11/2016 Officers observed a student setting off fireworks in the area of 505 Park Place. The remaining fireworks were confiscated. This incident has been referred to Student Development for review.
10/12/2016 Officers were dispatched to the HPER Center in reference to a medical emergency. Officers met with a student who stated he injured his neck while playing a game. The student was transported to the hospital. Student Development was notified.
