Wittenberg Men’s Lacrosse team recently traveled to Nashville, Tenn. to take on Colorado College on Sunday, Feb. 19. Although they came out of the game with a 10-12 loss, the Tigers still showed strength during their first game of the year. Noah Moderwell, freshman attacker and midfielder, was honored as North Coast Athletic Conference Men’s Lacrosse Player of the week for his contribution during his debut to college lacrosse. Moderwell scored three times for Wittenberg, as well as picking up eight groundballs, and caused one turnover. Also scoring three goals was senior midfielder Zach Shy, who scooped up six groundballs and made an assist. The Tigers will travel to Otterbein University on Saturday, Feb. 25 to face off against the Cardinals at noon.
