The Wittenberg Men’s Lacrosse team made a sweeping victory against Hiram last Saturday, ending the game at 19-5.
Jack Strahm, ’19, assisted by Jerry Coyle, ’19, scored the game’s first point for Wittenberg, and the last point of the game was scored by Coyle.
Wittenberg began strong, scoring 14 of their total points in the first half of the game. Hiram made four points in the second half and was considerably more aggressive, but in the end, Wittenberg won out.
Noah Moderwell, ’20, was the star of the game with five points and three assists.
This game brings the Wittenberg Men’s Lacrosse team at 1-0 for home games, and 3-4 overall. They are scheduled next to play at Oberlin on March 24 at 2:00 p.m.
