9/27/14  Officers observed a suspicious vehicle in the area of Cliff Park and North Fountain Ave. Officers initiated a traffic stop and the vehicle initially stopped, and then sped off. Officers lost sight of the vehicle when SPD advised it had been involved in a traffic crash with a parked vehicle. All but one male fled the scene upon arrival.
9/27/14  Officers were dispatched to the New Residence Hall in reference to an intoxicated student vomiting in the second floor bathroom. The student declined to be transported and was issued a Dean’s Summons.
9/27/14  Officers assisted SPD with a domestic altercation at the intersection of N. Fountain Ave. and Northern Ave. A non-student was ultimately arrested by SPD.
9/27/14  Officers were dispatched on a report [of] a male being aggressive in the area of W. College Ave and Woodlawn Ave. Officers arrived, and the male subject was sitting in the driver’s seat of a vehicle on the north side of the street. When the male saw us [the police], he jumped out of the vehicle and ran up to a residence on W. College and started beating on the doors. The subject was completely nude and was yelling for them to let him in. Officers attempted to gain control of him, but he got away from us and jumped off the porch and started running south. Officers started chasing him south into the Sprecher Apartment parking lot. The subject stopped, and officers took him to the ground and the subject continued to resist. Officers used joint locks to gain control of him and place hand cuffs on him. He was then placed in the back of a police cruiser. The student was having some mental health issues and needed to be evaluated by mental health professionals. The student was transported to SRMC to be evaluated. Student Development was notified.
9/28/14  Officers were sent to Ferncliff Hall in reference to an exit sign that had been ripped down from the ceiling. Physical Plant was notified, and no witnesses were located at the time of the offense.
9/28/14  Officers were dispatched to a residence on N. Fountain Ave. in reference to an altercation between a male and [a] female student. One student was attempting to leave the residence after a heated verbal altercation. At some point during the argument, a physical altercation ensued. The victim suffered some scratches, but declined to pursue charges. Officers contacted Student Development.
9/29/14 Officers were dispatched to Firestine Hall in reference to a welfare check on a student. The student was found in good health and taking a nap in her room. The student was advised to contact her mother.
10/2/14  Officers were dispatched to Firestine Hall in reference to a possible unauthorized entry into a room. The three students were observed leaving the victim’s room. All three males stated they entered the room as a prank. All three males admitted to knocking the sheets off the victim’s bed and spraying Axe (body spray) all over the room. The victim stated his WittOne card was missing. All three males denied taking the card and offered to help find it. All three males were cited in the Dean’s Office.
