04/17/2016 Officers were dispatched to Alumni Way in reference to a male spraying a fire extinguisher. Officers located the male holding the fire extinguisher in front of the Student Center. The male admitted to taking the extinguisher from a fraternity house. This case has been referred to Student Development for review.
04/17/2016 Officers were dispatched to Faculty Court in reference to a male who had injured his arm. Officers spoke to two students. The students had been arguing when one of them punched a window and cut his arm. Medic 1 transported the injured student to SRMC. The on-call dean was notified. This incident has been referred to Student Development for review.
04/18/2016 Officers were dispatched to Student Development in reference to office windows that had been broken. A Wittenberg staff member stated that when she left her office at 6:30 p.m. on April 15, the windows were intact. When she arrived this morning, she found two windows had been broken. There was a rock on the floor by one window; however, it is not known what broke the other window. Physical Plant was notified.
04/19/2016 Officers responded to Bill Edwards Field in regards to a vehicle that had been on the field since 04/11/2016. Officers unsuccessfully attempted to contact the owner. The owner was called and removed the vehicle from the field.
04/19/2016 Officers were dispatched to Bill Edwards Dr. and Woodlawn Ave. in reference to three African American males throwing rocks at vehicles. Officers observed a non-student running from the area and stopped him in the 300 block of E. Cassilly St. After questioning the non-student, officers learned that he and two other suspects had been throwing rocks at cars as they drove past. The non-student would not identify the other suspects. The non-student was charged with Criminal Mischief and placed in the Clark County Juvenile Detention Center.
04/19/2016 While on patrol, officers discovered the southeast window on the field hockey locker room had been broken. It appeared that the window was struck from the outside of the building. Officers were unable to locate an object that would have caused the damage.
