This Valentine’s Day, Wittenberg hosted an event for students and faculty to send a little love toward our alumni and other generous donors of our university.
I Heart Wittenberg Day was a cross-campus event that had three different booths set up for students and faculty to go around and create personalized cards for alumni to thank them for their generous donations to the university. The three booths were located in Hollenbeck and Center Dining Room, starting at 10 a.m., and Kuss Science Center at noon.
The CDR had a little extra love to give, with a photo booth for Witt students and alumni to come and take pictures. Candy and prizes were also given away at each location, and the first 10 people to sign a thank you card at each spot got a free ‘I Heart Wittenberg’ T-shirt.
This event helped students show their appreciation towards alumni and other donors who make extra experiences possible for current and future students here at Wittenberg. Without their help, some of our extra-curricular activities would go unfunded. As we continue to pass our light on to others, these alumni have come to share the call of passing the light far beyond our years at Wittenberg.
