This past Monday, around 5 p.m., a Wittenberg University student was involved in a multiple car accident on North Fountain Ave. in front of the Student Center.
No incident report has been released yet, but members of the student body, who were at the scene of the accident, said they saw a silver vehicle crash into several cars that were parked on the side of the street. The impact had caused the silver vehicle to flip on its side, however, no serious injuries were reported at the time.
Junior Scott Morrison showed up to the scene right after the accident had occurred and was able to provide assistance to the people involved in the crash.
“I turned the corner and saw this vehicle laying on its side, so my first instinct was to help in whatever way I could,” Morrison said. “We were able to get the driver out through the back door and make sure that he was okay until paramedics and police arrived.”
Further information has yet to be released.
